Au revoir les enfants tells a heartbreaking story of friendship and devastating loss between two boys living in Nazi-occupied France. At a provincial Catholic boarding school, the precocious youths enjoy camaraderie- until a secret is revealed. Based on events from writer-director Louis Malle´s own childhood, the film is a subtle, precisely observed tale of courage, cowardice, and tragic awakening.
The film has received numerous awards and was nominated for two Oscars in 1988.

A Spanish teenager learns about love, death, and oral hygiene in this bittersweet coming of age story. David (Biel Durán) is a 16-year-old growing up on the poor side of Madrid. David falls in love with Gloria (Bárbara Lennie), a beautiful girl in his class, but he can´t figure out a way to get her to notice him. In time David´s so desperate to get close to Gloria that he starts getting his teeth cleaned by her mother, a neighborhood dentist, who tends to share her problems with her patients.
